Director- Rikki Bobchin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Jersey and earned an MSW from Rutgers University in 1996. Rikki specializes in providing evidence-based treatment and has been successfully treating clients using a DBT approach since 1999. She established a comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy program to provide all treatment modes to their full capacity. As the founder of the DBT Center of NJ and the Team Leader, she has trained, supervised, and mentored her team. She provides training and consultation to DBT programs and community therapists in NJ and has organized a NJ Team Leader Meeting. Currently she is collaborating with several hospital programs in training staff in evidence-based treatments to establish a standard of care in NJ. Rikki is the first private practitioner to fund and support a Family Connections Group that trains families, to help other families, at no cost. Rikki was the guest speaker on a Nationally Syndicated Blog Talk Radio Show-Your Mental Health, and has consulted with the documentary film director for the Re-Think BPD project. Throughout her professional journey she is most recognized for her passion to provide evidenced-based treatment, dedication to the population she serves, and her genuineness.
Rikki’s areas of clinical focus include treating complex trauma, borderline personality disorder, anxiety and mood disorders, substance abuse, disordered eating, and in providing parent education. Rikki is a seasoned skills trainer who has structured and maintained multiple skills training groups a week for the past 11 years, including adult, young adult, adolescent, parent, and disordered eating.
Rikki’s extensive training includes completing the 5-day Advanced Intensive Training Course, and New Emotion Regulation Skills with the treatment developer Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., 10-day Intensive Training Course in DBT, Individual Psychotherapy and Skills Training in DBT, Treating the Multiply Disordered Suicidal Client, Treating Eating Disorders in DBT, DBT with Multi-Problem Adolescents, Skills Training Course, DBT Chain Analysis Training and DBT Validation Principles and Strategies. In addition she has completed Intensive Training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety, University of Pennsylvania, is level II trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), has advanced training from the New Jersey Child Sexual Abuse Training Institute--Case Consultation Project, received new specialized training in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics/Habit Reversal Training (CBIT/HRT), is a NASW Board Approved Clinical Supervisor and a Field Supervisor for Rutgers University MSW graduate students.
Rikki is a member of the National Association of Social Worker (NASW), The Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), Philadelphia Behavior Therapy Association , Evidence-Based Practice learning Community, and Treatment and Research Advancements Nation Association of Personality Disorders (TARA).
Rikki’s background experience includes providing inpatient substance abuse treatment to adults and adolescents, outpatient community mental health services for children, adolescents and adults, working in child protective services, providing mental health services for the Department of Corrections, and adapting DBT skills training groups in a correctional facility where she developed mental health treatment for the first Juvenile Female Correctional Facility in NJ for the Juvenile Justice Commission.
JENNIFER CELLI, MA, LPC, RPT
Child Psychotherapist -Jennifer Celli is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist with over ten years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. She completed her graduate training at Monmouth University with a concentration in Child psychotherapy and play therapy. Jennifer specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and as a clinician within a full comprehensive DBT program at DBT Center of NJ, she provides evidence-based treatment to suicidal and self-injurious children, adolescents, and young adults.
Jennifer's extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy through Behavioral Technologies includes the 5-day Foundational Training, for clinicians who are already part of an intensively trained DBT Team, DBT with Multi-Problem Adolescents; DBT Validation Principles and Strategies; DBT Chain Analysis Training. Other trainings include: Sensation to Emotion Training; Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy with Children and Adolescents; Anxiety disorders in Children and Adolescents; Explosive, Noncompliant, Disruptive and Aggressive Kids; Play and Sand Tray Therapy. In addition, Jennifer has been intensively trained in Animal Assisted Therapy incorporating her love for nature and animals into her therapeutic style. This method is used to reach clients as the animal helps to bring a loving and non-judgmental presence breaking down barriers that isolates clients whom experience physical and emotional difficulties.
Jennifer has provided clinical treatment in a variety of settings. She worked with sexual abuse survivors in a residential treatment facility providing psychotherapy, psycho-education for clients and support staff, as well as implementing play and sand tray therapy into their treatment plan. During this experience, Jennifer developed and implemented group therapy to promote effective coping strategies for this client population. Jennifer was the primary clinician for an Adolescent Partial Hospital Program in an outpatient setting offering individual and group therapy, psycho education, as well as Multi-Family support services for those enrolled in the program. In addition to providing therapeutic services she collaborated with ancillary treatment providers such as school personnel, individual and family counselors, as well as advocating for insurance providers to support treatment. Jennifer has been a clinician at a non-traditional private school for academically and emotionally impaired youth which includes grades 6 through 12.

KIMBERLY MCLAUGHLIN, MS, LPC
Psychotherapist- Kimberly McLaughlin is a Licensed Professional Counselorwith over 15 years of professional experience working with adults, adolescents, and their families in the field of mental health. Kimberly uses both a (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and a (DBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy approach to treatment while her compassionate style enhances the therapeutic relationship and facilitates growth and well being.
Kimberly ‘s area’s of clinical expertise include: treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, addiction, trauma, and anxiety disorders, using an (ERP) Exposure and Response Prevention Manualized Treatment Protocol for the Treatment of (OCD) Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Kimberly also has experience utilizing the Seeking Safety curriculum that has been supported by research as an effective approach for the treatment of individuals who struggle with both trauma and substance abuse.

Intellectual Disability Specialist - Beth Fie r is a licensed professional counselor and director of The ID DBT Program of Central Jersey, an intensive program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She has been working in community mental health since 1995 and currently provides counseling to adults and families, many of whom are affected by intellectual disabilities (ID). She has completed the 5-day Foundational Course, DBT Skills Training Course and Skills Training in DBT: The Essentials. Psychotherapist- Adria Trapani is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the State of New Jersey. She completed a BA in Psychology from The College of New Jersey, and her graduate training in Applied Clinical Psychology from William Paterson University. Other formal training includes: the 5-day Foundational Course in DBT, DBT:Treating Substance Abuse Disorders, DBT Skills Training Course, DBT with Multi-Problem Adolescents, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) for Children and Adolescents from the Albert Ellis Institute, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and is level I trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition to formal training as a substance abuse specialist, Adria has a broad range of experience including treatment program development and implementation, individual, family, and group therapy and biopsychosocial assessments with both adults and adolescents.
